Autumn has given its call
trees has shed the leaves
and standing are they tall

Wondered I
how will they protect
themselves
from the cruel cold
Still, survived they
against all the odds
the heat of summer
and the snow of winter
And stood erect and tall.

Learnt I
to stand in all odds
to make the things happen
